Some recent photos
I haven't been taking many bird photos lately. Just today I briefly saw a hawk in the street. It was only there for a second but it made me want to bring out my camera. I would love to photograph a bald eagle sometime this winter. Here are some recent photos I have taken. By recent I meant a bird pic from today and some photos of bugs from early fall.
House Sparrows
Saw this group of house sparrows in the bush out front this morning. The two on the left look nice they are really in focus. There was an orange cat at the bottom of this bush. I wanted a photo of it but it had ran off by the time I grabbed my camera.
Bark Moth?
Saw this cool moth on the door to the garage. Looks like a piece of bark. Totally wanted to put it in a shadbow box but the litte guy was still alive so I coudln't.
Archie Pulling String
Archie pulling some string I had in my garden to seperate plants. Originally I was going to grow some peas and broccoli but the seeds did not cooperate. I think I still might make a cold frame in order to grow salad greens in the cold months. Look out for that on the blog page.
Groundhog Hiding Behind Tire
Occasionally I see a groundhog. Usually they are underneath a porch or in the ditch. This guy seems to run around through all the ditches in the neighborhood. Looks like it is eating some kind of nut here. I threw some tomatoes into the ditch but I never saw the groundhog take it. This reminds me, I should totally put my trailcam back up in the tree to see if the raccoons still live there.
